Since Valentine's day is just around the corner i'm gonna tell you how to make an easy yet impressive dessert. Plus its falling on a week night this year, so what could be easier to put together than a chocolate fondue!

YES! A CHOCOLATE FONDUE!

Not only does it have like only two ingredients, but the method really is a no-brainer as well.. even the worst cook can pull it off effortlessly. Not that you guys are bad cooks or anything, just making a point...

All you need is chocolate, heavy cream and lots of love. <33

If you don't have heavy cream, you can totally use milk. Add chocolate to your serving dish, boil the cream, pour over your chocolate, let it sit for a minute and then stir! Stir it gooood.

You’ll end up with a rich, creamy pot of chocolate fondue that is absolutely delicious, romantic & a fun dessert for two on Valentine's day.

Serve with a platter of cubes of pound cake, brownies, cookies, marshmallows, bananas strawberries or pineapple chunks for dipping.

Oh, and FYI, fondue is French for "melted".

CHOCOLATE FONDUE for TWO

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup chocolate (chips or chunks)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk

  • Dippers (pound-cake cubes, banana, strawberries, pineapple chunks, apple slices, brownies, marshmallows)

DIRECTIONS:
  1. Add chocolate chips or chopped chocolate to your serving bowl.

  2. Microwave the 1/2 cup of milk or cream until very hot and pour over the chocolate.

  3. Let the mixture sit for 1 minute. (I know it can be hard to resist the urge to stir, but trust me and do as i say) After a good minute, stir until smooth.

  4. Serve with your preferred dunkers immediately.

  5. If the fondue gets too thick or cool, reheat in microwave for 20-second intervals until it’s back to the desired consistency.

(TIP: the leftover chocolate can be used to make chocolate truffles)

😋

HAPPY BAKING!
